The Client

Savills Catering provide a high quality catering service for schools and care homes across the UK.

The Challenge

Like most of our clients, Savills approached us because they had pushed running their business on spreadsheets to breaking point. Back office operations were no longer running smoothly and they needed a solution. They looked for an off the shelf solution but couldn’t find anything that quite fit their needs, so they approached us to build a custom system.

The Solution

We built a full operations management system for Savills that completely replaced all of their spreadsheet based management.

The system we’ve built manages HR, payroll, employee scheduling, reporting – their whole operation is now powered by our system – their ‘single source of truth’.

Different managers can edit staff rotas simultaneously, with updates appearing on other user’s screens in realtime, as opposed to their previous Excel system which would only allow one user to edit the data at a time.

Activities such as scheduling routine shift patterns and copying these into the future have been reduced from hours of work down to a press of a button, allowing management to focus their attention on providing a quality customer service instead of on routine administrative operations.
